1900s Antique German Glass Christmas Ornament Grape Cluster, Figural Mercury Glass Grape Bunch Ornament

A beautiful superbly molded early German figural glass Christmas ornament. A gorgeous detailed grape cluster in bright silvery-gold! Circa early 1900s.

The glass is very thin and fine, typical of this early era of German glass ornament making, where each ornament was individually blown by mouth into a highly detailed mold. The design is comprised of a bunch of round grapes topped with detailed leaves on both sides. It measures 2.75 inches tall to the top of the cap and is 2 inches wide. It retains its original unmarked metal cap and Lauscha style flat hanging loop. The ornament is in excellent condition, with minimum paint loss and the usual oxidation at the top pike area.
