1900s Antique Glass Swan Boat Ornament, German Wire Wrapped Unsilvered Glass Bird Ornament

Lovely antique unsilvered tinsel and wire wrapped swan boat, circa 1910s-20s, Germany.

It is simply wonderful, featuring a graceful long necked swan with a long pointed red beak and black wing accents. The point tip of the beak still has the tiny ball of glass where the glass blower ended. Wow! The long pike makes up the mast and bundled crinkle wire wrap creates the sail. The tail is spun glass. It measures 5.5 inches wides and is 4 inches tall and is in very good antique condition free of chips, cracks, or breaks with minor paint loss. An original small foil label is attached at the pike, always a nice bonus on these old vintage finds!

What an amazing and striking very early antique German wire wrapped swan boat. A thoughtful gift for the bird lover!
