1920s Antique German Free Blown Twisted Icicle Christmas Ornaments 4 Spiral Fluted Glass Teardrop Ornaments

Pretty and elegant early antique free blown twisted glass icicle ornaments, a fine lot of four. Circa 1920s.

These spiral icicles were made without a mold. They were free blown by German craftsmen, twisting the glass to create the spiral shape. The glass is very thin and fine, typical of this early era of German glass ornament making.

They measure 4 inches tall to the top of the pike, and are wider at the top spiraling down to a lobed point at the bottom. All have their original Lauscha style metal cap and are in excellent condition free of chips or cracks. Wonderful!

What a lovely set of hard to find early German free blown icicle ornaments. Very special considering their age of 100 years old!
