1920s Antique German Mother and Child Angels Flesh Face Figural Glass Christmas Ornament

Very fine early German glass ornament featuring the sweet mother and child angels with lovely details, circa early 1920s. Rare!

The small child is held in front by her mother who has long flowing golden locks of hair. Their hand painted flesh faces and hands are nicely detailed, the child’s held in prayer pose. Their flowing robes are nicely molded, wrapping around the form. It measures 3.75 inches tall to the top of the unmarked Lauscha style cap and is in excellent condition free of chips or cracks with minimal paint loss, the pike intact. Just a bare hint of silvering loss and the usual oxidation on the pike.
