1920s Antique German Ornament Gold Santa Hands in Sleeves, Vintage Figural Glass Christmas Ornament

Antique blown glass figural Santa ornament in the harder to find gold color with a super long pike, circa 1920s Germany.

He is simply wonderful, featuring sparkly silver mercury glass with a light gold suit and cap. The Santa face and beard are nicely detailed, with bright eyes and a red mouth. This small ornament is the classic Santa Hands in Sleeves version with a bumpy lobed bottom.

It measures 2.75 inches tall to the top of the unmarked Lauscha style metal cap. It is in very good antique condition showing some usual silvering loss towards the top. There is a break in the pike on the right side which the cap mostly covers. It retains some original cotton string which was its hanging loop, long before the common metal ornament hook!

This shiny gold antique glass Santa ornament will make a great addition to any figural ornament collection, a wonderful gift for the Santa collector!
