1920s Antique German Glass Apple Ornament, Vintage Fruit Christmas Ornament Feather Tree

Lovely antique glass fruit ornament from Germany in excellent condition. Circa 1920s.

This is a wonderful early unsilvered gold apple ornament to display or hang on your feather tree! Fruit ornaments were very popular during the Victorian era and at the turn of the 20th Century. The glass is very thin and fine, typical of this early era of German glass ornament making.

It is a pretty dark gold color all the way around and features an extra long pike and nice molding. It measures 2.25 inches tall to the top of the original Lauscha style cap and is in excellent antique condition with almost no paint loss. This is somewhat amazing for an ornament of this age, almost 100 years old! Our photos show all sides of this sweet old ornament.
