1920s Jumbo Pear Figural Ornament Antique Unsilvered German Glass Fruit Christmas Ornament

Wonderful extra large antique glass fruit ornament from Germany with a soft graduated blush of color. Circa 1920s.

This is a harder to find early unsilvered pear fruit ornament in this larger size. Food ornaments were very popular during the Victorian era and at the turn of the 20th Century. It is hand painted with a nice blush on one side which goes from deep orange-red to a lighter orange color at the sides. So pretty!

It measures 4 inches tall to the top of the original Lauscha style cap and is an excellent antique condition free of chips or cracks. There is just one spot of minor paint loss. Our photos show all sides of this sweet old ornament.
