1920s Pear Antique Unsilvered German Glass Fruit Christmas Ornament, Feather Tree

Lovely antique glass fruit ornament from Germany with a soft graduated red blush. Circa 1920s.

This is a wonderful early unsilvered pear fruit ornament to display or hang on your feather tree! Fruit ornaments were very popular during the Victorian era and at the turn of the 20th Century, and these pastel glass ornaments are especially nice ones. The glass is very thin and fine, typical of this early era of German glass ornament making. It is hand painted with a nice red blush on one side which goes from deep red to a lighter orange color at the sides. So pretty!

It measures 2.25 inches tall to the top of the original Lauscha style cap and is in very good antique condition. There is a bit of age related paint loss. Our photos show all sides of this sweet old ornament.
