1940s German Glass Ornament Bell Santa Holding Tree Figural Glass Christmas Ornament – Rare

Uncommon antique German blown glass Santa ornament in a hard to find bell shape, circa 1940s.

He is in the classic pose, holding a Christmas tree over his shoulder. His face is nicely molded with his big bushy beard and mustache, finished with hand painted black dot eyes and a red mouth. The suit and cap are a dark red-brown lacquer ending with a rounded lobed bottom and small pontil.

It measures 3 inches tall and is in excellent antique condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. It retains the original metal cap with its Lauscha style hanging loop.

This unique and rare figural glass ornament will make a nice addition to any Santa Belsnickle collection or display, a nice gift for the Santa collector!
