Vintage HTF Large 4.5″ German Figural Glass Christmas Ornament Cornucopia with Toys

Fabulous embossed figural glass Christmas ornament, a rare large form child’s cornucopia filled with fun toys! Circa later 1940s Germany.

This is the largest version of this classic ornament design, measuring 4.5 inches tall to the top of the cap, and 2 inches at its widest point. The bright silvered glass is very thin and fine. A nicely molded 3D waffle cone cornucopia holds a doll, teddy bear, gift package, and other toys. It is in excellent condition free of chips or cracks. There is some usual oxidation on the pike.

This rare ornament will make a wonderful addition to any collection, a great gift for the special child in your life!

SIDE NOTE: This is a one of the classic antique German figural ornaments which is featured in many of the Christmas Collectibles reference books. It is one of the larger sizes made, at 4.5 inches tall. They were also made at 3.25 and 3.75 inches tall. This largest size is much harder to find.
