Prewar Corning Glass Ornament Hand Painted Squiggles Vintage USA Christmas Ornament

Harder to find vintage Corning USA glass ornament with hand painted design, circa early 1940s.

This is a lovely early Corning round sphere ornament with a silver gold top and center silver band framed with white stripes. A pretty blue graduates in color to the very bottom. The hand painted white squiggle design is a fun one-of-a-kind pattern. It measures 2.75 inches wide and retains its original USA metal split cap. It is in good vintage condition free of chips or cracks, showing some age related wear. The bottom color lacquer pooled a bit which shows in the photos, a part of its factory history so many years ago.
