RARE Italian Green Oyster with Pearl Glass Ornament, Vintage Blown Glass Christmas Ornament

Wonderful rare Italian blown glass Christmas ornament, a pretty pale mint green open shell with a pearl inside, circa 1950s.

It is deeply molded with nice details and curved ribbing in a scallop shape. The center is concave and a lovely glass pearl is attached in the center.

It measures 2.75 inches tall to the top of the cap and 2.5 inches wide. It retains the original marked Made in Italy metal cap. It is in excellent vintage condition free of chips or cracks, the pike showing the usual paint loss at the top. It is intact and free of chips also. There appears to be a small bit of glue residue on the pearl.

What a fine early Italy ornament, a must-have for the Italian figural ornament collector, perfect on a beach or ocean themed tree. This green version is hard to find!
