Shiny Brite Chandelier Christmas Ornament, Carriage Lamp Lantern Green Glass Ornament

Wonderful unique Shiny Brite Christmas ornament, featuring a pale green lobed teardrop chandelier shape. Circa 1950s-1960s.

This was called a carriage lamp or carriage lantern in the 1960s Sears Christmas catalogs but is more commonly referred to now as a chandelier. The vertical striations are deeply molded, culminating in a lobed bottom. The center features a band of round circles that wrap around the form.  It is finished with the classic metal ribbed cap and loop which reads, “Shiny Brite Made in U.S.A.”

It measures 3 inches tall to the top of the cap, and is in excellent vintage condition free of chips or cracks. The lacquer paint has faded a bit over these many years. Our photos show both sides of this fabulous Shiny Brite ornament, a great addition to your collection!
