Vernon Kilns Christmas Cup and Saucer Vernon’s Christmas Tree 1940s, Holiday Coffee Tea Christmas Tree Set

Very rare early Vernon Kilns Christmas tree cup and saucer set with pastel colors and a large star treetop, “Vernon’s Christmas Tree”, circa 1940s.

This pattern is very hard to find as a cup and saucer set. The saucer measures 6.25 inches wide and the cup is 4 inches wide at the mouth. Both are in mint condition free of chips or wear.

The plate features an elaborate illustration featuring an old fashioned decorated Christmas tree, its branch ends holding lit candles with a large group of toys at the bottom. Find a sailboat, dolls, an airplane, wrapped packages, and more! A pretty holly berry pattern circles the rim. The cup features a maroon band on the handle, and the same toy illustration on one side. It is framed by two radiating stars that match the treetop. It also has the holly berry pattern circling the rim. Both pieces feature the Vernon Kilns backstamp:
