Vintage Bottle Brush Tree Flocked Mercury Glass Garland, 4.5″ Japan Christmas Tree Putz Display 1950s

Wonderful earlier snow flocked bottle brush tree, wrapped with mercury glass beaded glass garland! Circa 1950s, Japan.

It measures 4.5 inches tall with the branch tips generously sprayed with white snow flocking. A bright multi color glass garland wraps around the form, made up of 3/4″ shiny triple beads. It has a wire trunk and sits on a rectangular wood base. An original paper Made in Japan label is still attached to the trunk (upside down), always a nice bonus on these vintage finds! A wire hanging loop is attached at the top for use as an ornament if desired. There are a few loose fibers but it is overall excellent, the glass beads free of paint loss or breakage. It has a slight tilt to one side.

This is a lovely vintage Christmas decoration, so nice with the genuine glass garland from this earlier period. Wonderful in a putz village scene or other holiday decoration!
