Vintage Boy Clown on a Ball German Double Glass Christmas Ornament, Combination Clown Ornament

Wonderful German double combination blown glass ornament, the smaller size Boy Clown on a Ball in amazing condition! Circa 1940s-50s.

It is nicely molded with a hand painted flesh colored face indicating this time period. He wears a bright pink and green clown suit and sits on the matching 1.5 inch sphere which is decorated with white mica stars. It is a smaller size version of this classic design measuring 4.25 inches tall. It is in excellent vintage condition free of chips or cracks with almost no paint loss. (Often these flesh face ornaments have had major paint loss over time.) The long pike is intact.

This is a wonderful German combination ornament, a fabulous addition to any collection. A thoughtful gift for the Clown collector!
