Vintage Glass Bird Ornament Clip On Multi Color Songbird Christmas Ornament 1950s

Sweet vintage German blown glass clip songbird Christmas ornament with lovely colors. Circa later 1940s-50s.

The bird features finely molded feather and wing details. A silver body is painted with multi color wings and head patch with a nice blush of red on the breast. The long pointed beak tip still has the tiny ball of glass where the glass blower ended. Wow! The tail feathers are the original spun glass.

It measures 5.25 inches wide, beak tip to tail end. The blown glass body is 3.5 inches wide. The original spun glass tail and spring leg are intact attached to the original metal clip. It is in very good vintage condition free of chips or cracks, the colors still bright and crisp.

What a beautiful vintage songbird Christmas ornament, a fine addition to any antique German or bird ornament collection.
