Vintage Glass Brass Diorama Ornament Snowman and Brush Tree Mid Century Christmas Decor

Very sweet vintage glass diorama Christmas ornament, featuring a wonderful wood snowman and a decorated brush tree! Mid century.

The adorable snowman wears his classic top hat. His face is hand painted and there are black buttons on his belly. Wood arms and legs protrude from the seated body. A lightly flocked brush tree is at his side, decorated with three large round foil glitter ornaments, one magenta, silver, and gold. (They are hard to see in the photos but are securely attached.) The tree sits on a wood base.

The simple glass diorama is house or manger shaped and consists of a base, pitched roof, and two slanted sides. The roof and bottom are clear glass panes, wrapped in brass and soldered together. It is finished with a metal hanging loop and gold cord. It measures 2.25 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. An original Made in Taiwan foil label is still attached on the bottom. It’s in excellent vintage condition free of damage or wear. There is some oxidation to the brass which adds to its vintage character!

This is a harder to find diorama ornament to display or gift to someone special.
