Vintage Glass Christmas Garland 7′ Loop, Japan Gold Mercury Glass Bead Tree Garland

Beautiful vintage glass Christmas tree garland with half inch gold beads tied into a loop, circa 1950s Japan.

The lovely glass beads measure 1/2 inch wide and are tightly strung with the gold lacquer still so bright. It measures just over 7′ long (85 inches) with an extra inch for the tied loop. The wire ends protrude and this garland could be loosened to a long single strand if needed.

It is in very good vintage condition with just a couple of broken beads, which is somewhat amazing considering its age and the fragile nature of the thin glass. A gorgeous garland for your vintage holiday decorating this year!
