Vintage Glass Christmas Ornament Clip On Bird, Mercury Glass Bird Shiny Brite Ornament

Gorgeous vintage silver and pink blown glass clip bird ornament, in wonderful condition! Circa 1960s, made in Japan for Shiny Brite!

This is a beautiful figural glass bird ornament with a bright silver body, the wings and beak a pretty pink. It is highly sculptural with finely molded feather and wing details. The tail feathers are spun glass in a silvery-white color.

It measures 6.5 inches wide, beak tip to tail end. The blown glass body is 4 inches. The original spring clip is firmly attached and is marked Japan. It is in excellent vintage condition free of chips or cracks. There is a bit of the usual age related oxidation at the tail end.

What a beautiful and striking vintage Shiny Brite clip on bird Christmas ornament. A fabulous addition to any bird or vintage ornament collection, so pretty on the tree!
