Vintage Glass Christmas Ornament Rainbow Pine Cone Germany, Figural Glass Rainbow Ornaments, 1950s

Exquisite large vintage German glass pine cone ornament in a rainbow of colors and flocked with mica! Circa 1950s.

The bright lacquer paints are in a graduated rainbow color scheme. It starts with a beautiful bright red at the top, which graduates to several colors ending in a gorgeous turquoise blue at the bottom. All of the bract edges are coated with lovely white mica.

It measures 3.75 inches tall to the top of the cap by 1.75 inches wide at its widest point. The pike is intact and it retains its original Lauscha style metal cap. It is in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or mica loss. Somewhat amazing for its age!

It’s hard to find a rainbow ornament from the earlier years. This one is superb!
