Vintage Glass Prewar Christmas Ornament Carousel Lantern, Corning American US of A Ornament

Very early Corning USA glass ornament, an unusual “fancy shape” barrel carousel lantern in beautiful bright blue!

This is a wonderful and harder to find vintage American ornament that was first released in 1939 and discontinued after the war. It features multiple tapering panels which culminate in a rounded bottom. The color is so gorgeous with a turquoise quality.

It measures 2.25 inches tall to the top of the original US of A metal cap and is in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks or paint loss. There is one small factory blip on the bottom as shown in the photos

This is a wonderful early Corning Glass Christmas ornament, in a harder to find shape. Quite rare with those few production years! A great addition to any USA ornament collection!
