Vintage Glass Prewar Christmas Ornament Carousel Lantern, Gold Corning US of A Glass Ornament

Very early Corning USA glass ornament, an unusual “fancy shape” barrel carousel lantern in a lovely bright gold!

This is a wonderful and harder to find vintage American ornament that was first released in 1939 and discontinued after the war. It features multiple tapering panels which culminate in a rounded bottom.

It measures 2.25 inches tall to the top of the original US of A metal cap and is in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. There is a drop of dark lacquer paint on one side as seen in the photos, original from when made.

This is a wonderful early Corning Glass Christmas ornament, in a harder to find shape. Quite rare with those few production years! A great addition to any USA ornament collection!
