Vintage Large Weinachtsmann Head Christmas Ornament, German Blue Santa Head Glass Ornament

Excellent, hard to find large vintage German glass Weinachtsmann Head Santa ornament in a bright blue color, circa 1960s.

He is simply wonderful, featuring deeply molded and expressive features. The ornament is silvered, the face painted a light gold color with bright blue eyes. There are also red hand painted facial accents. The head with beard and hair are turquoise blue, the mustache and eyebrows painted white. He wears a molded red cap with a white bumpy rim.

This fine vintage blown glass Christmas ornament measures a large 4.5 inches tall to the top of the unmarked metal cap. It is in excellent condition free of chips or cracks, showing just a bit of minor paint loss. The cap may not be original.

This is a superb vintage German figural glass ornament. It will make a great addition to any Christmas ornament collection, a wonderful gift for the Santa collector!
