War Era Unsilvered Ornament Tinsel Inside, Large Corning Glass Teardrop Ornament

Striking large vintage Corning US of A unsilvered glass teardrop ornament with a long sparkly tinsel spray inside. American made, war era 1940s.

It is a bright and colorful clear magenta-red with four vertical white stripes that wrap around the form. The large tinsel spray is very bright and extends from inside the pike to the bottom. It retains its original US of A metal cap. It measures 3.5 inches tall and is in good antique condition free of chips or cracks. There is age related paint loss as shown in the photos.

This is a classic vintage USA glass Christmas ornament, a great addition to any vintage ornament collection!
