Wonderful mid century wood hobby horse Christmas ornament, hand painted circa 1970s.

He is a tall stick pony, the classic design hand painted on both sides. His mane is made of soft green chenille and his reins are a braided cotton cord, expertly tied and secured through a hole in the wood. So fun! It measures 4.75 inches tall. The reins act as the hanging loop. It is in excellent vintage condition, with just a bit of minor paint loss on the pole.

This is likely a mid century Taiwan wood ornament, a fun gift to the horse lover or vintage toy collector!
