Vintage Glass Prewar Christmas Ornament Carousel Lantern, Corning American US of A Ornament

Very early Corning USA glass ornament, an unusual “fancy shape” barrel carousel lantern in hard to find green!

This is a wonderful and harder to find vintage American ornament that was first released in 1939 and discontinued after the war. It features multiple tapering panels which culminate in a rounded bottom. The color is so gorgeous with a turquoise quality.

It measures 2.25 inches tall to the top of the original US of A metal cap and is in very good vintage condition free of chips or cracks. The green fades to a thinner wash of lacquer on the second side, as seen in the photos. This was original when made!

This is a wonderful early Corning Glass Christmas ornament, in a harder to find shape. Quite rare with those few production years! A great addition to any USA ornament collection!
