Vintage Wood Nutcracker Soldier Musician Erzgebirge Germany Wooden Christmas Decoration

Classic vintage German wood nutcracker, mid century.

This wonderful vintage Christmas figure features a standing nutcracker soldier musician. He has a hand painted expressive face with furry white hair. He wears a bright green uniform with red and silver accents. His long black legs stand on a red base and he is finished with a tall black hat. He holds gold music cymbals in his hands, no doubt a member of a marching band! He measures 8 inches tall and is in very good vintage condition free of chips, cracks, a bit of light minor wear. It  is unmarked. There are no moving parts.
