1900s Antique German Patriotic Glass Ornament Eagle Flags Stars Embossed Christmas Ornament

Fabulous, superbly molded antique German glass ornament, a hard to find Patriotic bell with embossed eagle, stars, and flags! Circa early 1900s.

This large bell is silvery-gold with embossed features and fantastic molding. A 3D eagle outdent has its wings spread open. His talons hold three arrows and greenery, his head framed with three red embossed stars. The back has wonderful red, white, and blue flags with another matching red star at the top. The wings and flags wrap around to both sides of the ornament. The center of the bell is deep, finished with a black glass clapper. It measures 2.75 inches tall and is 2.5 inches wide. It is topped with an original early unmarked Lauscha style metal cap. It is in excellent antique condition free of chips or cracks. There is a bit of paint loss here and there, but minor.

This is an amazing early German ornament. It will make a beautiful addition to your antique Christmas ornament collection, perfect on a Patriotic tree!
