Vintage German Glass Ornament Indian Chief Peace Pipe, Figural Christmas Ornament, 1940s

Wonderful antique German blown glass Native American Indian ornament, circa 1940s.

He stands in the classic pose, holding a gold peace pipe across his chest. He wears the feathered Chief headdress which frames his face which is nicely molded and detailed. Red and gold hand painted accents finish this fine ornament.

He is a large size measuring 4.25 inches tall and 2 inches wide. It is in excellent antique condition free of chips or cracks with no paint loss. It retains its original metal cap which shows age related oxidation.
