Vintage Beaded Christmas Ornament Czech 3D Hexagon Star Mercury Glass Beads 1950s

Lovely Czechoslovakian glass bead Christmas ornament, a delicate and complex star with four styles of beads! Circa 1950s.

Different shaped glass beads form this intricate dimensional beaded star ornament. Pretty white tube beads form the six pointed star shape. Six silver glass teardrop beads form another six pointed star in the center, surrounded by xix large 1/2″ round coppery-orange glass beads. It is finished with a small silver bead in the center and a long white tube bead with hanging loop at the top. This beautiful ornament measures 2.5 inches wide and is in mint condition, so pretty and sparkly.

Czech beads were often used in decorations and Christmas garlands. True artistry and craftsmanship was needed to design and assemble them. They are quite desirable today.
