12 Corning Prewar Glass Ornaments in Box, Vintage Round USA Glass Ornaments 1940s

Wonderful collection of 12 assorted vintage American made Corning glass Christmas ornaments in original large box, most are prewar early 1940s, with a couple war era mid 1940s.

All ornaments are round spheres and 10 have prewar US of A original caps, the other 2 have USA caps. This classic set includes:

– (2) 2.75″ prewar with hand painted floral bands framed with stripes
– (1) 2.25″ prewar blue with stripes and pink floral band
– (5) 2.75″ prewar stripes
– (1) 2.75″ war era unsilvered with mica stripes
– (2) 2.25″ prewar and war era solids
– (1) 2.25″ early prewar magenta bumpy pyramid

They are in good vintage condition free of chips or cracks, showing age related wear and paint loss on a few. The silver floral band has some sprinkles of old sprayed on snow here and there. They are stored in an original large 1940s lidded box with original cardboard dividers. The box measures 11.75″ x 8.75″ and is free of stains or marks but has torn edges and sides. All pieces are present so this box can be repaired, if desired.
