12 Vintage Poland Indent Christmas Ornaments in Box, Teardrop Reflector Glass Ornaments

Superb collection of 12 vintage Poland indent glass ornaments with hand painted glitter decoration, brilliant colors, in unique printed box! Circa late 1930s to early 1940s.

Wow! We love high quality antique Poland Christmas ornaments, and these are simply fabulous. The mouth blown mercury glass is super thin and fine, typical of vintage glass ornaments of this era. There are 12 beautiful indent reflector ornaments in various vibrant colors and hand painted decoration, 6 teardrop and 6 round sphere. They are so vibrant and sparkly with the light bouncing off of the many faceted molded lines and radial patterns.

The teardrops measure 3 inches tall to the top of the cap, the spheres 2 inches. All have original metal caps and are are in excellent condition free of chips, cracks, oxidation, or spotting. Some of the glitter has flaked off, and has aged to a soft gray color which helps to date these. They come complete with a wonderful printed period box. It features various holiday designs including Santas, angels, and candle lit Christmas trees! The box is in good antique condition, complete with the cardboard inserts which holds and protects each ornament. The lid is missing two of the sides.
