1880s Victorian Wire Wrapped Indent Star Ornament with Flower Inside

Very early antique German mercury glass indent ornament, with mica trim. Elaborately wire wrapped and framed with a fancy stiff wire wrapped star. A pretty paper flower is placed inside of the indent, featuring many petals in a swirl pattern. Original cotton cord hanging loop is attached, always a nice bonus! It measures 4 inches wide and is in excellent condition free of chips or damage.
