1900s Antique German Silver Lametta Christmas Tree Tinsel, Glattes Engelshaar Smooth Lametta NIP

Wonderful genuine antique silver tinsel Christmas icicles, NIP, 1900s Germany.

The tinsel is very thin with a smooth texture which reflects the sparkling Christmas tree beautifully. It is bright silver and untarnished, having never been used. The original package contains two groups of several very thin shiny silver strands.

German text is printed on the packaging:

Christbaum-Schmuck
Glattes Engelshaar
Silber

Which translates to:
Christmas Tree Ornament
Straight Angel Hair
Silver

The paper envelope is a light blue fading to gray. It measures 8.5 inches by 4.25 inches and is quite thin. It is in excellent antique condition, the tinsel unused. The envelope shows age toning and a bit of edge wear over all of these years.

What a delightful very early antique German lametta tinsel package. Perfect for the tree, or in any decorative holiday displays!
