1900s Large German Outdent Ornament Jumbo 5″ Fluted Floral Teardrop Christmas Ornament

Lovely extra large antique German multi floral outdent glass balloon tear drop ornament, circa early 1900s.

The glass is very thin and fine, typical of these very early ornaments. It is a large size at 5 inches tall to the top of the cap and 2.5 inches at its widest point. The bright silver ornament features FIVE embossed floral outdents featuring the classic German edelweiss flower. The bottom stem has vertical fluted indents and is finished with a round ball finial. So pretty!

It is topped with an original unmarked metal cap and is in very good antique condition, showing just a bit of the usual age related wear. There is a chip on the pike but minor. Our photos show all sides, turning in a clockwise motion.

This extra large German fluted floral outdent ornament will be a fabulous addition to any antique ornament collection, a thoughtful gift for the collector!
