1910s Antique German Standing Praying Angel with Folded Wings Glass Christmas Ornament

Lovely early antique German figural glass angel ornament, circa 1910s-1920s. The common name is, “Standing Angel with Folded Wings”.

Here is a very sweet tall angel Christmas ornament with lovely embossed details to her robe and curly blonde hair. She holds her hands in front of her in prayer. The folded wings are in back and also feature nice detailing in a bright gold color.

She measures 3.5 inches tall to the top of the original Lauscha style metal cap and is in excellent condition free of chips or cracks, the long pike intact. There are a couple of small flecks of minor paint loss. Our photos show all sides of this special ornament.

Every collection needs an antique German angel ornament and this one is in such pristine condition at over 100 years old, makes for a thoughtful gift!
