1920s Antique German Glass Christmas Ornament Round Birdhouse, Vintage Figural Glass Ornament, Bird Birdhouse Embossed Ornaments

Wonderful early embossed round birdhouse ornament, circa 1920s-1930s Germany.

The bright silvered mercury glass is very thin, indicative of early Lauscha glass ornaments. A nicely molded cottage style bird house features a red top and pointed red bottom. The fascia edge is crimped with a zig zag pattern. Windows and horizontal siding details create nice character.

It measures 2 inches tall to the top of the original metal cap and is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. The cap is oxidized from age.
