1920s Antique German Outdent Christmas Ornament Gold Cornucopia with Roses

A wonderful early antique German outdent Christmas ornament featuring roses and a bumpy oval back side! Circa 1920s-1930s.

This is a very early version of the classic floral cornucopia ornament in a soft gold color. It is an oval disk shape and features embossed roses framed with leaves. The sides and back have a four row bumpy border which frames another pretty floral outdent.

It measures 2 inches tall and is in very good antique condition, free of chips or cracks. The paint is still bright with a bit of age related paint loss. There is no cap but a metal ring and original cotton cord hanging loop. This was made before the modern spring cap was invented which helps to date this to an earlier period.
