Antique Comic Clown Figure German Blown Glass Christmas Ornament 1920s RARE

Really fun harder to find antique German figural glass ornament named “Comic Clown”, circa 1920s.

He is so wonderful with that great expression on his hand painted face! His large hands are splayed on top of his big round belly which has a lobed bottom and small pontil. His fancy red bow tie and buttons match his big nose and mouth.

He measures 3.5 inches tall to the top of the original Lauscha style metal cap and is in excellent condition free of chips or cracks, the long pike intact. There are a couple of small flecks of minor paint loss. Our photos show all sides of this special ornament.

Every collection needs a bit of comedy now and then, makes for a unique and thoughtful gift for the clown or figural ornament collector!
