1920s Unsilvered Glass Ornament Art Deco German Red Bumpy Faceted Teardrop Christmas Ornament

Fabulous, superbly molded antique German glass Christmas ornament, a unique unsilvered bumpy ringed hexagon teardrop. Circa 1900s to early 1920s.

Here we have a hard to find embossed bumpy six sided ornament in a lovely unsilvered red color. The bumpy center band is framed with a row of rings above and below, wrapping around the form. It has a wonderful Art Deco feel to it.  The glass is very thin and fine, typical of this early era of German glass ornament making.

It measures 2.75 inches tall to the top of the cap by 1.5 inches wide. It is in excellent condition free of chips or cracks. The longer pike is intact and is topped with the original Lauscha style metal cap with flat hanging loop.

It is an amazing and quite rare early unsilvered German ornament. It will make a beautiful addition to your antique figural Christmas ornament collection, wonderful on a Patriotic tree!
