RESERVED 1930s Heidt Glass Christmas Ornament Jumbo Grape Bunch, Vintage USA Glass Ornament

Lovely harder to find large jumbo version of the Heidt grape bunch Christmas ornament, American made circa mid-1930s to early 1940s by the German ornament maker Heidt!

This ornament has a unique history. Many German ornament makers fled Germany during the war, and a man named Heidt arrived in New York and created his ornament company there. This is one such classic ornament that he created.

This deeply molded bumpy large grape bunch is a bright silver color, shiny smooth with a pastel brush of green and pink for color. Classic Heidt! This large version also features embossed leaves on the top, making it a bit rare. It measures a large 4 inches tall to the top of the cap and is 2.75 inches wide. The long pike is intact and is topped with an unmarked metal cap. It is in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or wear.
