1930s Heidt Red Santa in an Acorn Cap Jumbo Vintage USA Figural Glass Ornament

Scarce very early tall Santa wearing an acorn cap Christmas ornament, American made circa mid-1930s to early 1940s.

This ornament is believed to have been made by the German ornament maker Heidt, and it is also attributed to another USA manufacturer Variety Novelty Co., both of New York! Either way, it is a very early pre-war American ornament and is hard to find.

Santa is deeply molded and measures a large 4.5 inches tall, topped with the classic sawtooth metal cap. It is in good vintage condition showing age related paint loss and the long pike is chipped. Please see the detail photos.
