1930s Vintage Japan Floral Stencil Christmas Ornament, Pre 1946 Glass Ornament

Classic very early glass Japan ornament with a rare floral bell stencil design! Circa 1930s.

Japan first started making Christmas ornaments for the American market in the mid-1920s and this pretty stencil ornament is from a bit later. It is a light pink color with a delicate spray of white Lily of the Valley bell flowers repeating on both sides. The original metal cap is attached which is marked Japan. It measures 2 inches wide and is in excellent antique condition free of chips or cracks, the stencil designs still crisp after all of these years! (The small band of white spray in the photos is the light reflecting, not paint loss.)

Antique Japan stencil ornaments are hard to find, and this Lily of the Valley design is quite rare. It will make a nice addition to any collection or display, a nice gift for the Japan ornament collector!
