1930s Mercury Glass Beaded Garland Faceted Beads Japan, Antique Glass Bead Tree Garland

Beautiful vintage mercury glass Christmas tree garland, 68″ long with unique faceted beads. Circa 1930s, early Japan.

These multi-faceted beads are harder to find. The large round brightly colored beads measure a half inch, interspersed with double quarter inch bumpy barrel beads in silver. There are also some rare double square beads that look similar to dice. These double beads are a bit harder to find and so unique! Please view the detail photos.

It is one continuous strand, measuring 68″ long and is in excellent antique condition. The colors are still crisp and bright with minimal paint loss or oxidation. There are just a few broken beads which we have left as is, a part of its history and the fragile nature of the thin glass. A unique and rare garland for your vintage Christmas tree or holiday decorating this year!
