1930s Vintage Beaded Glass Garland Faceted Beads 8′ Japan Mercury Glass Tree Garland

Beautiful vintage mercury glass Christmas tree garland, 8.5′ long with unique faceted bumpy beads, circa 1930s, early Japan.

These multi-faceted beads are harder to find. The large light green beads measure a half inch, interspersed with double quarter inch beads in silver, red, and darker green. The original silver cardboard star ends are still attached. These paper embellishments are always a nice bonus on these old vintage finds!

It measures 8.5′ long (102 inches) and is in very good antique condition. The colors are still crisp and bright with a bit of the usual age related paint loss and oxidation. There are just a couple of broken beads, amazing after all of these years! (There is one 2 inch blank string strand at one end which is not included in the measurement length.)
