1930s German Glass Ornament Red Coat Santa Holding Tree Figural Glass Christmas Ornament

Striking antique German blown glass Santa ornament with wonderful mica accents, circa 1930s.

He stands in the classic pose, holding a Christmas tree over his shoulder. His face is nicely molded with his big bushy beard and mustache, finished with black dot eyes. His coat, cuffs, and cap are all trimmed with thick white mica. The red lacquer is bright with a rounded lobed bottom and small pontil.

It measures 3.5 inches tall and is in very good antique condition free of chips or cracks. It retains the original metal cap with its Lauscha style hanging loop. The white mica is strong; there is a bit of age related paint loss.

This classic antique figural glass ornament will make a nice addition to any Santa Belsnickle collection or display, a nice gift for the Santa collector!
