1940s Antique German Santa with Molded Boots Figural Glass Mica Christmas Ornament

Wonderful antique mica Santa figural glass Christmas ornament, circa late 1940s to 1950s, Germany.

He is deeply molded and finely detailed with his big bushy beard and rosy cheeks. He wears the classic suit lined with white mica trim. His black boot feet create a lobed bottom. The dark reddish-brown color is indicative of this time period.

He measures 3.5 inches tall and is in very good antique condition with just a bit of minor paint loss. It has a beautiful luster and shiny finish. It retains its original metal cap. There is a chip on the pike which the cap mostly covers. Please see all of our detail photos to appreciate this fine German ornament.
