1940s Unsilvered Shiny Brite Christmas Ornament War Era Barrel or Lantern Blue Mica Stripes Ornament – RARE!

Wonderful harder to find early 1940s wartime Shiny Brite Christmas ornament, featuring patriotic blue with bi-color white and yellow mica stripes!

This is a wonderful WW II unsilvered Shiny Brite glass barrel ornament in excellent vintage condition. It features one of the harder to find barrel or lantern shapes, with graduating tiers, a fat center, and lobed bottom. It is painted blue on the top with a ring of blue on the bottom lobe. The very bottom of the lobe is clear. The clear wide center features two bands of mica which is quite rare. The center yellow band is 3/8″ wide, with thinner white mica stripes above and below it. It is finished with the classic metal ribbed cap and loop which reads, “Shiny Brite Made in U.S.A.”

It measures 2.5 inches tall to the top of the cap, and is in excellent vintage condition, showing just minor age related wear. This vintage unsilvered war era Shiny Brite barrel or lantern glass Christmas ornament is a must-have for the Shiny Brite collector! Ornaments with multiple colors of mica are quite rare.
