1950s Vintage Shiny Brite Christmas Ornament UFO Atomic Tornado Glass Ornament Striped Shiny Brite

Classic 1950s Shiny Brite UFO tornado lantern ornament in classic Christmas colors of red and green over silver mercury glass. Hard to find shape!

This is a wonderful rare Shiny Brite atomic top UFO glass Christmas ornament featuring three graduating tiers of lobed glass with a bright red top. The ribbed center features green, gold, and red stripes. White stripes circle the outer lobes. It measures 2.75 inches tall to the top of the original classic metal ribbed cap which reads “Shiny Brite Made in U.S.A.”. It is in very good vintage condition free of chips or cracks, with a bit of minor paint loss on one side.

This classic Shiny Brite glass ornament is often referred to as an atomic UFO style, Tornado style, striped Lantern style or spinning Top style. Whatever you call it, it’s a spectacular and hard to find vintage Christmas ornament!
